Nothing is too personal in this day and age of sexualized social media. Elisabeth was merely complaining about being a mum and that's very PG not mature content. You need to define what is 'too personal' and what you cannot accept.
I empathize with the idea that parenting is heavier than expected. Birth is wildly celebrated and too little is said about challenging postpartum experiences. Posting to social media seems like a cry for help, and I hope understanding and effective support is delivered to the family.
Mods, I'm not sure why my post was unacceptably sanitized by you and left wondering whether it was a dubious sanitization? I said KINDLY from the sincerity of my heart that the writing was on the wall regarding Elisabeth's parental woes concerning being a mum and that the cause of her lack of resilience may be attributed to US Surgeon-General Vivek Murthy's grim finding that social media and technology in general negatively affects mental and social health and well-being in the first place. I hope you will properly differentiate my opinion in the future as this is not subtle enough from you.
Anyone have a betting odds link for the 1500? I'm about to bet everything I have on Kerr after seeing this.
A few months ago in March at the world indoor a brilliant and gifted athlete by the name of Josh Kerr ran the fastest final 200m in the last 10 or even 20 years for any event from 800m-10000m on the track of a fast enough 3000m race, 25.19s to be more specific and in lane 2 for at least half of it.
Again I do repeat, this was a few months ago, not a few years or decades ago!!!!!!!!!!!
Then this fickle board goes on to claim Kerr needed to have ran 25.19, or otherwise implied, so very recently like perhaps yesterday, last week or at minimum 1 month ago for it to factor into his winning peak shape and form he should be in for Paris Olympics next month.
This fickle board is so fickle, so impatient, so short-fused, so lacking in long-sufferance and faith that they get all itchy and agitated at 4 months between March and July 2024 as if they were 4 years or 4 decades!!!!!!!!!
Well, who in the last 10 or even 20 years (way more than 4 months) has closed a final 200m at any distance event from 800m to 10000m on the track, supershoes or no supershoes, in 25.19s with half of it in lane 2 out wide?????????
Does everybody on this board know how damn fast is 25.19s in lane 2 for half of it?????? If I need to be objective I can and will be, dun test it!!!
If my man Josh Kerr of GB needs to be lethal, he will mark my words folks. He is lethal on a 'needs basis', only if he needs to and that's the beauty of Josh Kerr's poison/sting. Jakob WILL LOSE the 1500m sadly this way......foregone conclusion folks......

True, your mother or Jakob's mother would sacrifice the world for or die for you and Jakob respectively but those were mothers and human beings of a different generation, the more pristine and morally abiding generation who had their faces turned much closer to God's. Not after 2000 or the millennials who are very depraved and corrupt. But would Jakob sacrifice anything big enough for his wife or child? He would first take out a calculator I suppose because he needs to know the odds, it's never unconditional enough for this generation of men and women.

I just watched this and one of my very useful life skills is that i speak fluent Norwegian. The way in which she spoke was very honest, very caring and discussed a lot of the positives as well as the challenges of the family’s lifestyle. She spoke with love and was grateful for being surrounded by family and friends as well as being grateful for the time she is able to spend with Jakob when he is not travelling. There was some comment on challenges that all new moms face.

jakob ran a 25.4 out of lane 2 in a 3:34 race, while waving his arms at the crowd. 3:34 in the 1500 is slightly more impressive than a 7:42 3000.
Elle St Pierre didn't post a whiney, blubbering video shortly after having Ivan talking about how hard it is and how much she missed running.
You know women are individual humans, right? We all process emotions differently and communicate in different ways. And actually, if you have been paying any attention at all, Elle has expressed plenty of the stress she has been going through.
On a positive note, Elle just received a grant from &Mother (Alysia Montano's organization) so that she can bring Ivan with her to Paris. And she did cry (tears of relief/happiness) on the IG story when they told her.
11-time Olympic medalist Allyson Felix has announced the debut of the first-ever nursery at the Olympic Village, which will open at the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.
1. Jacob's wife is a social media personality/influencer so if she posts something, there will be feedback on it. Feedback includes criticism.
2. Why didn't Jacob simply wait until AFTER the Olympics to have a baby? It makes literally no sense for this to happen right now. It's the worst timing ever.
For an athlete who is so meticulous and professional why wouldn't you wait until post Olympics? Jacob winning a second OG medal will only make the family MORE money and set their family up even better financially.
3. Jacob's wife is married to a professional athlete who will go on to be the best distance runner of all time. She doesn't work full time and they are wealthy. Posting an emotional video on why your life is super hard is cringe. Sorry that your husband has to go to work?
4. Why post this and drum up media attention mere weeks from your husbands biggest race? Drama right before the Olympics seems really odd. Narcissist behavior.
No but he probably shouldnt have gotten her pregnant so soon if he knew it would lead to conflict between his work and wife during one of the most important times in his career.
There is never a good time.
It doesn't take a genius to realize that some times are certainly better than others. Eg) they could've waited til after the Olympics to have a child.

Because she is an influencer, there has likely been demand for content and/or an explanation of why there has been a lapse.

That's a personal question. Not everything can be timed perfectly. You can educate yourself if you are actually curious. Also, this question is not helpful in any way to the current situation.

I don't think she's upset because he has to work. Two things can be true at the same time: she can be supportive of her husband and be overwhelmed. Also, you're probably underestimating the amount of work it is to be a new mom, which you can't really know unless you've been one. Just because he may make more money does not mean she doesn't matter. There are costs to everything, not just financial.

I agree it's bad timing in the short term, but also good timing for instigating change.

1. Understand she is an influencer, but why throw your husband/baby/family in the spotlight literally right before his big race for content?
2. Yes, it's personal but again...your husband is going for his SECOND Olympic medal. Why would you not plan around this? I can educate myself if I'm curious? (What type of response is this?) Sorry, no, this was poor planning and timing. Bad decision making.
3. If you are overwhelmed with your BLESSED situation (star athlete, wealth, fame) don't take to social media and cry about it. You are in a situation people would to LOVE be in. The lady working at Target making minimum wage with the newborn has a reason to complain.
"You don't know because you haven't been one" is a weak excuse.
4. Good timing to instigate change? What a terrible response. No, this is the WORST timing imaginable. Nothing will change because this is not the way to handle it. This is a way to strain a relationship and put unnecessary pressure on the bread winner.
