kate is a millionaire mom who was already part of the olympics, in 2016
she almost killed herself for a spot at Paris
She's not an example

She's not an example of what? Complete your thought.
I like Kate Grace a lot -- it's inspiring to see her back at 30+ after struggling with long covid & giving birth. That said, I don't think she had room to pass but clearly had more in her legs than Rose. Seems like a good no-call. Both athletes go through. Grace needs to position herself a little better/move earlier. Rose needs to better hold it together/protect the inside lane. All good. Final should be great. Mu looks human rn. a

and wear a crash helmet, just in case...
I've been rooting for Kate and I'm glad that she made the final, but I'm doubtful she makes the team. I suspect that fall will impact her (if not that, then the ankle roll that preceded it), and I think she's pretty much maxed out at around 2:00. That being said, Athing does NOT look OK.
I don't see any medals coming from the US 800m women's team.
Based on that semi, I would not be surprised if Mu fails to make the team, and I don't think she wants to. It's wide open for Kate Grace or other sleeper picks.
She ran 1:58…
I picked Kate to make the team in the prediction contest. The mods deleted my thread on Mom Power concerning Kate because they don’t like my keen insights.
re contact: Rubbing is racing...
I wonder if anyone is protesting that she wan't fully on the track when she crossed the line?

shouldn't kate grace be DQed for pushing? rose didn't leave a gap on the rail
The more serious crime is Grace ran on the left side of track, which contradicts right wing narratives. Mu should be the flag bearer of magagop since she always runs wide to the right.
I have absolutely nothing against Grace but her fall is completely her fault. There was no room for her to pass on the inside and she initiated the contact with Rose.
8th place...the end.
Nia....US Champion and on her way to Paris

Always loved Kate and knowing when to call it quits is admirable.
Hear that Emma?
Grace is full of class. Didn’t go off and complain and be bitter about Mu interfering with her race like some others acting like a medal was stolen from them.
A lot of corporates would like to have her. Very polished, especially compared to 90% of the dopey professional runners out there.
