Something fans don’t understand or maybe forgot. Athletes feel empty at the end of the year if they don’t make nationals. Seems like Jerry proved a lot of people wrong about middle distance guys today. He did great with Thompson at BTC. Cooper just shoots himself time after time with positioning during races, and Thomas is a world class middle distance coach (what other event groups though?).
Many of the PBs listed are not the real PBs. I think they just look at major meets. Leo's PB was made in high school: 3:39.39. Another example is Rheinhardt Harrison. They list his 3:40.58 performance here as his PB. He ran 3:38.90 last June.

Nice to see them both competing well with plenty of eligibility left.
Hutchins says she fell early in the race and was knocked down again trying to get back up. She stayed at the back of the front pack after that. She passed five on the last lap.

Super impressive. Continuing Martin Smith’s legacy. It amazes me how every year they excel in BOTH middle and longer distances. However,
I’ve posted this anonymously, having been a former teammate of him…they need to drug test that 5k Qualifier consistently. He supplied two other people with Spanish labeled vials. And has extreme anger issues, put his hands around two teammates necks in aggression.

West 1500 depth is lacking compared to East from what I can see....and East has Ramsden, May, Asekol.....
