Valby versus Keith in an Olympic final isn’t necessarily a meaningful matchup. If one tries to keep up with a fast pace set by the East-Africans, and the other doesn’t, the latter will have the advantage.

Just caught up on this race as it was on before the TV window. It's an even more impressive run than I first thought. Keith took on the pace when the pacers stepped off and she led the whole race right to the bell. That was a pretty gutsy run especially when you factor in the conditions and the travel, which is significant for European athletes going to China.
