Its very telling that you find this “even more sad” than the young man passing.

Prayers to his family and friends. What a sad thing to read today. His legacy is that of a kind leader from what I have read. RIP.

If I broke 14 minutes in college (I wasn't even close), I would be high on life.
I think I regret starting this thread based on what it has spiraled into, even if someone else would have started the thread eventually, and the vaccine trolls would have shown up eventually as well. Thank you to all who have posted condolences or personal experiences with Frank. I didn’t know him personally as such but I was a frequent competitor against him and his team (always way, way behind him). I just happened to see the tweet last night and was shocked beyond measure. May he rest in peace.
Mental health is a horrible thing to suffer with. I've been there many times even after good things happen.
It sure didn't take long for you guys to ruin this thread. I'm a former ODAC runner and was always impressed by Frank. My condolences for his family and friends, I hope he rests peacefully.

Maybe he did I don’t know.
My close friend and roommate did the same. Our school had meetings where we could talk about mental health rather than keeping it under the rug. Sometimes people need to know that they aren’t alone with how they feel and talking about mental health with others can help.
