How about a letter to the editor's of the LA Times calling for cancelation of the Olympics.

Or, as a letter writer noted that 2,700 buses are needed and the L.A. Unified School District has more than 3,500 buses. Also, there are many other school districts with a lot more buses than needed for the games. How the author of the OP's article missed that is a mystery.
