Though historically scewed, the male Olympic marathon stats are interesting.
USA 10 medals 2 gold, 2 silver, 6 bronze.
Kenya 8 medals, 3 3 and 2.
Ethiopia 8 medals 4, 1 and 3.

Doesn't the USA have 3 golds for the men's marathon? Thomas Hicks, Johnny Hayes, and Shorter? Anyways, while not the best nation, USA has been pretty solid at the Olympic marathon, if not a medal, we usually can get people in the top 10
