Its not surprising, its a common practice to have more then 1 wife.
Makes you wonder who the woman in the car at the time of the accident was.
p.s I'm not judging him, he was supporting all of them and apparently his wife knew as well.
More THEN one wife???
It's immoral, incorrect, wrong, fallacious, false, sinful, malevolent, pretentious, ungodly, illicit to have more than 1 wife, if having a wife in 2024 already tends to or predisposes you to be immoral, incorrect, wrong, fallacious, false, sinful, malevolent, pretentious, ungodly, illicit by the very fact that a man's ability to sexually desire his wife overlaps his ability to also sexually desire any other woman than his wife!!!
This is why if it's not supposed to be immoral to find or have a wife, the finding and having a wife TENDS TO PREDISPOSE YOU to engender immorality with another woman!!!
If that's the case, I therefore, don't even wanna have a wife in the first place lest by virtue of my wife I start overlapping corrupt sexual tendencies for women other than her.
Good question. I'm now beginning to question every single word that Kiptum says or says he did like running 300km a week!!! Maybe he only ran half of that after all and all his marathoning 'flair' was PED-related!! Nothing about Kiptum said at this point in time would ever surprise me. Heck if he was even convicted of criminal offences I also wouldn't be surprised any more. A man who falsely claims himself to be a 'true staunch Christian' on news media and to the whole world who also seems to indulge in blatant sexual immorality is a red flag on all levels. He has surrendered himself to the critics and court of public opinion already!

On one hand, I do think the focus on the simplicity of Kiptum's training and lifestyle was a bit over the top, but on the other hand, the man had a right (subject to his wife's consent) to party like he had just set the freaking world record in the marathon. Jeez, I think he should have been celebrating. His world record was ratified on Tuesday. He tragically died just days later on Saturday night, the first weekend after his record was ratified. He still had over two months until the Rotterdam marathon.
From one of the Letsrun articles on Kiptum's training". "There is no weekly rest. We rest when he gets tired. If for a month he doesn’t show signs of fatigue or pain, we continue. "He only runs, eats, sleeps." "
I agree, Kenya is an especially morally lawless and anarchic ground as their prisons are a reflection of the lawlessness of their society. In Kenyan prisons, men are forced into homosexuality or to act as sex slaves for one another due to the lack of women. And their prison system is bribed up to permit such lawlessness.
I therefore rather think that 4.5 out of 5 men have committed sexual sin in Kenya, based on my subjective analysis.

2) I don't think this thread is disrespectful to the family of Kiptum's as many observers here discovered that Kenyan news media already carried the so called 'disrespectful' news of Kiptum's supposed adultery and infidelity before this thread ever did. This thread is therefore a simple consequence of discussion of what the Kenyan public news media seemingly disrespected about!!!!
3) Finally, even if this thread by any immoral reasoning could ever be found seemingly disrespectful or otherwise to Kiptum it's also a matter of great public interest that it be found so and in order to educate the hordes of younger upcoming distance starlets to never deviate from the sacrosanct sexual morals and ethics of revered distance running greats of past such as Hicham El G, Haile Gebrselassie, Paul Tergat, Kenenisa Bekele, Sileshi Sihine whom nobody saw ever putting their hands around or have closer-than-professional intimate and PRIVATE exchanges and gestures with young and beautiful women single or married online or face-to-face whom they are not married to, much less in secret rendezvous.
One man to one woman, and only in marriage.

I don't you guys really understand the media in Kenya. A lot of the newspapers are straight up scandal sheets barely above the National Enquirer. Money talks also. When someone wealthy and famous dies of course people come out of the woodwork and try to get their piece of the pie.

That is somewhat true, but I believe her to be telling the truth. In this case, I wouldn't be surprised if the money and pressure is being applied in the other direction, to keep this story out of the more respectable papers.
There are photos of them together and she claims to have text messages and communication with him which is likely true.
Having a mistress, concubine or another wife is not uncommon in Kenya and accepted in most corners there. Especially if he was supporting her and their child.
