It's possible that Allie cut ties with them. It's just not very likely. She doesn't have a lot of income from YouTube or the other small sponsors that she promotes on her videos.
can you guys go and like serve your country, start a band, or read a book with all the free time you have to scrutinize a struggling woman trying to make the most with the cards she's been dealt by the running industrial complex?
stop engaging with her. let her make her youtube videos. get help.
It's sort of like the military industrial complex but on a very much smaller scale. Probably worth about 0.0000000000000000000001% of the military industrial complex.
A lot of the open field at USATF XC champs are running unaffiliated. Katie Izzo, Emmanuel and Hillary Bor, Cooper Teare, Cole Hocker, Bernard Keter and more. The affiliated people seem to be attached to teams like UA Dark Sky, UA Baltimore Distance, Zap, NAZ Elite that are affiliated with the brands, not individual brand affiliations. Maybe Nnormal dropped her, but just because she's unaffiliated in the entry list doesn't mean she's been dropped. Nnormal's clothing line looks pretty limited too. Cold day and she needed warmer gear. I have seen her run in Nnormal shirts and shorts on some recent vids.
I can't for the life of me understand why they signed her in the first place. She was never a trail runner, and pretty much every single piece of content she's produced over the past few years has been about how she feels sad sometimes or just a poop joke. Not exactly the kind of stuff you'd want to align your premium brand with. To cap it off, the news broke about her USADA ban during their period sponsoring her.
Complete basketcase - Her and TAS are absolutely perfect for eachother.
2nd place as a freshman at NCAA XC and world junior mountain champ.
She is likely wearing leftover Brooks gear from before. Either she has to shape up to run faster or find another niche. At this point, she is too slow to matter in track distance. I think she has to move up to marathon to see if that is her forte.
Love Allie and her content! I find her Youtube channel really entertaining and as for her mental health - it seems great tbh! There are so few people who get to be at the very top in this sport- I appreciate the ones who are finding a niche creating narrative media for us to follow and relate to. It’s definitely good for the sport regardless of whether they make world teams and whether you choose to tune in. :)
I’m not trying to trash on mountain running. These days the sport is pretty competitive, though obviously not at the same level as track and road running. Still, winning the junior world championships 5-10 years ago is hardly something you want to be a career highlight for a pro deal in your mid 20s. It would be like a 22-year-old going to shoe companies hoping to cash out on an undefeated in 6th grade track season.

Gtfo!
Can't forget the most important wins: 3x NCAA champion in the steeplechase going 3 for 3. She had a chance to go 4 for 4, but turned pro.
Over 40 replies and nobody bothered to check NNormal's web site? She's still listed as one of their sponsored athletes.
Should this thread be reported for being factually incorrect? So many upvotes to the OP. People are hitting misled.
Wait a few weeks, she always talks about wanting to be transparent, but never actually is until whatever it is she's hiding is about to come out. Eating disorder treatment was not mentioned until well into it. Canned by Brooks, same thing. Popped for banned substance, again, not even mentioned until much later. Same here. She won't be renewed and no one scrubs their IG of old posts unless it's a boyfriend they break up with. Also Nnormal won't take her off the site until her contract is up.

You posted "dumped by NNormal" as fact. A question mark would have made it clear you were speculating.
