Taylor Swift claims she ran 90+ mile weeks?? and pro runners play along

As a pop music hater, I really don't mind Taylor Swift. Compared to pretty much every other pop artist, she writes better songs that are at least somewhat interesting and pretty much all of them are kid-friendly. That and her country music background should make her a conservative favorite. The only reason they hate her is because they thought she was one of them and then it turned out she didn't hate gay people.

She also says she doesn't know when/if she's on camera at Chiefs games and there is no chance a celebrity at a public event doesn't know exactly when she's about to be shown. There's probably a manager looped into the gameday communications. Taylor says a lot of things.

It would not take three hours for her to sing all the songs. She can sing them in a minute or two. Again not performing them, just singing them. So maybe 5-10 songs a mile. This would maybe put her at 5 miles. Not unrealistic.

What are you talking about? A song is about 4 minutes long.

Idk if the specifics of her workouts are correct, but again, if you've seen her show you'll know she's done a LOT of training to carry that out week in and week out. no average Joe could get up on stage and do that show, not even most musicians.

This is the phenomenon with Taylor that I truly don't get. There's a weird thing where people get like...really defensive in their denial of her work ethic or her talent. Without any proof they INSIST that she is lying about it. It was "She doesn't write her own songs" for the longest time. "she didn't do all that work in the gym!" is now a thing. You don't have to like her music, but insisting she didn't write it is strange. You don't have to go to her shows or like her shows, but coming on here and rabidly insisting she is lying about her gym routine to a point where it offends you that anyone would believe it--is weird too.

People that post stuff like "you couldn't sniff sub 40" are telling on themselves lmao. You have to be atrocious at running to think that it takes even a modicum of skill too run sub 40. If you think someone is lying about running a 30:40, you do not belong on this forum...

Pull up the lyrics to a song and sing them. This is essentially what she is doing, not performing the full version. It is how some artists walk through a performance without doing a full performance.

That's a lot of words and not a lot of proof, big boy.

She does work harder than the vast majority of people

Maybe she only sings through the first chorus of each song. Seems like she got asked about her preparations for her tour, and then the journalist chose to describe things in a way that implied to many readers that she spent more time on the treadmill than she really did. It seems like pretty standard journalistic fluff. Is she directly quoted anywhere claiming she spent 3 hours per day on the treadmill? Has she bragged about these things on her own?

I don't know whether or not she ran 90+ mpw, but I do know that I could beat her in a 5K even if I was limited to 9 mpw.

I doubt this big time. I don't think she has the energy to run 90+ miles a week and to do her singing job. She would be rail thin.
