From this small college in New Jersey. It’s not a nationally known college so they just referred to it as “a New Jersey college record” - Ramapo is not Rutgers, let alone Princeton
Female students attending, and competing against, relatively small colleges like Ramapo have just as much right to fairness and safety in school sports - and privacy, dignity, safety, comfort, convenience and peace of mind in the locker rooms - as female students at schools that are larger, much better-known and far more prestigious like Rutgers and Princeton.
Also, for the record, Ramapo College is a public higher education institution or New Jersey state school just like Rutgers University is.

All of the articles I’ve seen about this are playing it up as if she is the new Lia Thomas but it’s not in the same universe.
More importantly, she shouldn’t be allowed to compete based on the new NCAA/FINA rules and I haven’t seen any explanations for this.
NCAA delayed the introduction of "Phase III" by one year, so this swimmer slipped through the cracks. This won't happen next year unless NCAA delays Phase III again.
In the meantime, you don't see anyone on this board starting a thread on news like this, because it does not satisfy the people's demand for the outrage theater.
Transgender women who have been through male puberty have been barred from international women's cricket under new regulations announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday."Any male to female participants w...
Another day, another proof men are better at everything
Interesting you mention this, because I suspect this notion is at the heart of the motivation of all of these conmenservatives who are always obsessing about this subject. These conmenservatives never seem to care about women’s rights except in the context of athletics.

Exactly. My daughter who competed against him is a D3 swimmer. I was a D1 track athlete and my son was a D1 track All-American. My daughter has worked way way harder than my son or I did and cares about it much more. It's a big big deal. A huge part of her life.
If a D1 level swimmer comes in and beats them, so be it, congrats to her. But a mediocre D3 dude who competed as a man last year stealing medals? That is not okay.
And I care more about the locker room. Her team is her happy place, her people. Having a naked due flaunting his dick and balls in their private dressing area is a violation. I want her to enjoy her team and her sport and not have a narcissistic drama queen try to ruin it for everyone.

You are the drama queen. Quit trying to police the locker room like a pervert. Grow up dad!
Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Sexual assault! Good one! Quit diluting the meaning of the term.
Gotcha. Women are so unreasonable and hysterical. They shouldn't get upset about a naked dude flashing them. Girls are so uptight. They need to loosen up. It's that "me too" crap.
Sexual assault? Come on man. If it's not forced intercourse, it's all good. Snowflakes these days getting worked up about nothing. It's a man's world! If a dude wants to drop trou and show the girls his junk, they should be grateful.
Why don't you walk into a girls' private area, strip naked, and see what happens? I'm sure everyone will agree with you that it's just hilarious and not a violation at all.
Just listening to the girls who felt violated, but I guess they're wrong. Girls are so weak. They need to grow up and accept it's a man's world.
I didn't police it, but maybe I should. Sounds like you want no barriers to you going in there and flashing them. Try it and see what happens.
I am a bit surprised your daughter has never seen a grown man naked, including you.
You let your daughter see you naked? You think it's fine for men to expose themselves to women? Women should just put up with it and not complain? You're disturbing. You should be reported. Not even kidding. You can rail against the "me too" wokeness, but it's because of creeps like you that it exists.

Reported for what? I am sorry that you are ashamed of your body. Grow up dad!
She's been on hormones for the last three years and has been waiting to be cleared. The whole team is in support of her too. Fox News scumbags writing some hate p*rn about this regular college student is ludicrous.
You want a real read at what the athletes think then read this
"The most scrutinized regulation is the one that states trans women cannot join any collegiate women’s swim team unless a blood test indicates their testosterone level in serum is below 10 nmol/L. This is based on guidelines released by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2015. In 2021, the IOC released revised guidelines that eliminated testosterone thresholds and gave the governing body of each sport freedom to create their own regulations. “At the time the 10 nanomoles per liter was set because we thought that was the lower level for men. We know now that they go down to seven and women can be higher as well. Agreeing on another number is almost impossible and possibly irrelevant. You can debate that endlessly,” Dr. Richard Budgett, the IOC’s medical and science director, said in an interview with The Guardian. “I think the threat to women’s sport has probably been overstated,” he continued, and stressed that governing bodies should allow as many women as possible to compete and acknowledge “trans women are women.”"
If the top IOC officials can admit that this fear is overblown and there isn't a great way to define testosterone limits for this stuff then it should be taken at face value from the top people in sport.
People hate trans women in the spotlight even if they've done all the needed things to compete at this level which the state and the sport demanded they do. For three years she competed in the men's division following these rules and now according to the rules she can compete with women. If that isn't fair and following the rules, I don't know what is.
The NCAA, IOC, and any other organization are complete IDIOTS for not shutting this down ASAP. Who gives a sh^t of what kind of freak-show "Therapy" anyone is on. The bottom line is that you were born a biological male, and just by altering your physiological chemistry doesn't make you a male.
I've said it a hundred times, this will keep going on if allowed. Shut it down NOW!

Take a chill pill. You are a HUGE part of the problem.
