I would argue that, even if she never gets faster at any distance, never turns pro, and never wins another major championship...Tuohy has still had a wonderful collegiate career and a wonderful running career.
If a guy sets a bunch of NCAA records and wins a Heisman trophy and then does nothing as a pro do we say they had a wonderful playing career? No, we call them a bust. Same with a basketball player that was great in college but didn't make it in the NBA.
