Looking at the past, Israel will massacre innocent Palestinian civilians while the US continues to give them money.
yeah Israel probably will do that and Russia and Iran know Israel will do that. And that's their strategy. Israel will come out of this looking like a brutal clumsy bully, killing kids day and night with F16s. And that will make the Saudi peace initiative impossible to continue.
And it will just anger Europe all over again. Never ends.
Iran and Russia will win the infowars on this one. Probably. They will come out as power brokers.

It’s just tragic all around. Lots of innocent Israelis were killed and now even more innocent Palestinians will die, and all to what end? There was a growing and powerful protest movement in Israel with the progressive, left, secular, two state solution forces gathering strength in the country on the wings of moral outrage, and now this attack will scuttle this and further empower Netanyahu and the intransigent right. And though the conflict between the Palestinians and Israelis is real and painful, we should not lose sight of the fact that this attack was encouraged in this very moment by Iran as part of their battle with Saudi Arabia for dominance in the region. The Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people are nothing but pawns in Iran’s efforts to ensure there is no peace between Israel and Saudi and to undercut the Saudis, their mortal enemies.

interesting question if this will help or hurt netanyahu,
initially it will help him - people will gather around the flag.
but israel is a democracy and the deal with bibi has been 'yes, I'm a corrupt jerk who doesn't really believe in democracy....but I'll keep you safe.'
That last part is blown up now. Bibi apparently had troops in the west bank because the settlers are so important to him politically, and few in the south. Whoops! The Palestinians marched in without much of a fight due to the deployment of troops in the wrong place for political reasons.
A democracy should hold that kind of major mistake against politicians. We'll see. Right wing authoritarianism is appealing to westerners right now.

There will be recriminations about Israeli intelligence failures and lack on military preparedness, and I guess ultimately this might turn on Bibi, but not for a while, and even if it does, no way do these events empower the left. No, this was an effective blow against Israeli democracy and any elements of Israeli society suing for true negotiation and peace. However, all of this is small potatoes compared to the battle between Iran and Saudi Arabia and Iran and it’s domestic unrest. Hamas struck this blow at the “request” of Iran. Iran is the puppeteer today.
Israel 100% had prior knowledge of the attacks. Why exactly they let them happed I am not smart or researched enough to know. It is certain they knew this was coming.

Keep going with your gut, amigo. You don’t need your brain with a gut that confident.

"two state solution forces gathering strength"
Thoroughly delusional -- Israel has never meant for there to be a 2SS.
The rest of your comment is equally nonsensical. You think the way Zionism wants you to think.

Let's say Canada and US have a war. US loses. So Canada declares a 'Canadian Mexican Mandate' and ensures that all of the southwest and Texas is given as a 'home for Mexicans'.
Or enter any number of Native American Tribes and their ancestral home. You know I really liked the Iroquois Confederacy, we should give them back their ancestral home.
The British mandate was a bad idea following WW1 and decisions to provide Jews a 'home' have backfired ever since.
You got displaced because the Ottoman Empire conquered you for generations. Want it back? Win it back.
Let em fight it out. Winner take all.

Ottoman conquest was not the same as an implantation of a state without cultural roots.
Arabs influenced the Ottoman empire and until the beginning of 20th century Ottoman were using Arab characters.
Where were your friends Jews at that time? Jew culture had almost zero Hebraic influence in the middle East.
Turkish (Türkçe [ˈtyɾctʃe] , Türk dili; also Türkiye Türkçesi 'Turkish of Turkey') is the most widely spoken of the Turkic languages, with around 80 to 90 million speakers. It is the national language of Turkey and Northern C...
Islam and Arab language are the natural extension of Hebraic culture by the same people of the region that brought Jadaism and Christianity.
What you see today in Israel are immigration of jews from other parts of the world that completely lost contact with the cultural development in the middle east
Its Ottoman that spread Islam in Europe. You see a country like Albania has 80% of muslim population.
Her name is Shani Louk. Only 30 years old. She was German, not even Israeli. She was near Gaza to attend a music 'Festival for Peace' when Hamas terrorists did this to her. She’s likely dead. Peace with terrorists isn’t possible. They must be crushed. pic.twitter.com/o4aCITmTMp

This guy, whose job it is to know about these things, would seem to disagree:

What role will U.S. intel community play in your scenario? What role will D.o.D. play in your scenario? Will be the role of U.S. politicians? It's hardly fair to say this now. U.S. has been unfair to one side for over 60 years. U.S., under L.B.J. did the strangest thing. When U.S.S. Liberty was attacked by Israel, 1967, L.B.J. admin. covered it up as if U.S. was in the wrong. U.S.S. Liberty was just a comm. ship. A fight wouldn't be fair today. D.o.D. has been arming and training Israelis for decades.

you just can't say nuclear powers should just 'fight it out.'
What if Israel is about to lose? Israel has nuclear weapons and might use them in a last-ditch effort to save their country. That could end civilization pretty quickly. Iran would quicky build a nuke in response, eliminate Tel Aviv or DC or NYC and then we'd all die.
And if Israel does lose without corking off a nuke, then freaking Hamas would gain control of nuclear weapons. I'm sure you don't want that.
Once nukes enter into the chat, the dialogue changes. The best we can hope for is more of the same rather than change.
