Jakob the 1500 and will probably run under 3.26 within 2-3 years. In the same period he can break the mile record if he tries.
I think he can break the 3000 record now if he really tries.
He's not going to prioritize setting a 5k or 10k record until he loses his 1500 speed, let's say when he's 25-26 years old. The only reason he might struggle with the 10k record is that he doesn't have the optimal body for the long distance. But he has the engine, the will and the training consintensy to reach world class if or when he chooses to
prioritizes the longest distances, up to half marathons.
Much has to be done to set a world record, but Jakob Ingebritsen is the one who currently has the best chance of breaking all records from 1500 up to 10k.
