Colin Sahlman is in danger of not making the top 7. This year he's like 7-10th on the team right now. LRC would be incredulous if you told them in 2021 that Sahlman could miss the team in his second year of XC.

You're definitely right that many of them would. But more reasonable folks have always known that milers don't always adjust to college xc, especially 10k. Otherwise Washington would dominate XC as well. Sahlman running 1:46/3:38 in track should be enough for the idiots to understand that he's still doing well.

Corey Gorgas and Theo Quax have stepped up big time. they've both struggled with injuries the last few years but it looks like they're healthy and have been crushing it.
i suspect their Top 7 at Nationals will be Young, Bosley, Las Heras, Hasty, Proser, Quax, and their #7 will be between Gorgas, Sahlman or Kang (the slight edge I have to give to Gorgas)
