Did Ribich (and half the field) DNS in steeple heat 1 or are the live updates only partially working?

Just outside 9.00. rather predictable unfortunately. Looked like he never practiced in his life

Ribich lost to FuDong and ShaoJie Wang (both in 8:50s) bringing back the steeple from the Ming dynasty for China.

Nice race in W 1500 Jipkurui over Plourde in 4:14

Ellis of WA take control of M 1500 with 450 to go to win in 3:40.8. Pacing seemed slow for all the 1500s.

Agreed. I’m beginning to think it’s odd that they even had pacers (and so MANY pacers!).

Some names out of the past in first W 5000 heat...Hart of MI and O'Neal of NAU

And now Vanderlende of MI in next heat...low 20s in 2019 ncaa xc but not much since

MI had/has the recruits Hart, Vanderlende, Windemuller, Tran, Osika, but they have not yet all put it together at the same time. They almost also had some blonde pony-tailed kid, who looked very presentable in maize and blue.

The weather might be a bit cool for a fast 1500.

I’ve sure been wishing Katelyn Hart success in her college career, she just hasn’t gotten there yet. For a multi-time Footlocker runner-up and always in the mix (including NXN), I was hoping she’d have a great college career. Good to see her name in the fast heat tonight.

Jepkirui crushed the last lap. She and Plourde can go faster.

i think that had more to do with a ~63 close. There's no reason they went 2:20 for the middle 800. Could easily have been 2-3 seconds faster there.

I’m SHOCKED that Jenna Hutchins is in this Invitational 5000m. Apparently Diljeet Taylor knows something we don’t about her fitness.
