Jakob has more Olympic/WCh gold medals than any American-born runner from 1500m up since...I don't even know. Shorter should have two, but we all know Cierpinski was doped to the gills in 1976.
(before the nitpickers come in, yes, Shorter was born in Germany...on a US military base, which is US soil, and to US citizen parents.)
