it's not mid semester - the spring term is Jan 9 - May 5, so she could still leave this week using the same transfer window that Mia and Sam did. Note: Their coaches did not leave, so this is a standard transfer window.
NAU is getting better (than Colorado) and will be on the podium by next fall. Colorado is trending downward. Going there would be a mistake.
The men at Colorado have not been as strong as in the past. Still, that's largely irrelevant. When has NAU's women's XC team threatened to beat Colorado?
If she isn't transferring mid-semester, the new NCAA rules prohibit her from entering the portal until March 1st.
There is a ZERO percent chance she will transfer mid-semester because Florida is the HEAVY favorite to win both indoor and outdoor NCAAs. There's probably never been a team more favored to win than Florida right now.
Jasmine Moore - 20 points
Talitha Diggs - 10 points
4x4 - 10 points with Diggs, Texas' anchor leg just transferred to UF as well as Oregon's achor leg and a member or Arkansas NCAA winning 4x4
Grace Stark - scored 15 points indoors in 2022 (1st in 60h, 4th in 60)
Valby - At least 6 points in the 5k, maybe can double and score 6 more in 3k or 10k
Barrett and Wilkinson - should be able to score 5 points total (both finalists in 800)
Bryant scored indoors and outdoors in the LJ
Transfer Flannel from Texas is a 11x All-American
They have a stacked recruiting class and more very good transfers.
What about anchoring the DMR? Doesn't FL have a chance to win there too

If they wanted to win the DMR, they definitely could. Nobody else has 2 girls under 2:02 and that doesn't even include Valby.
1200 leg - Barret - 2:01 and 4:14 for 1500
400 - Diggs 49.99
800 - Wilkinson - 2:01
1600 - Valby - 4:30?
Holloway might be more concerned with points in individual events because there's more points available, especially if Valby is ready for a 5k and 3k double. That and NC State doesn't pose a threat for the overall team championship so who cares if they get 10 points.
She is much better than last year when she ran 8:53. What does a strength runner do in 1600 to get 8:53, maybe 4:35? She is better now so worst case about 4:33.

You can thank Alabama for that. Samantha is back with the coach that helped her run 4:36.
You mean the Alabama coches that put 4 women in the top 16 and placed 3rd as a team?????
Your argument is that they don't know what they are doing?
I think you are Brosnan, he would totally lie about other coaches to make himself seem smart.
Alabama coaches are great at recruiting but not amazing coaches. Other than Tynisma, name one other domestic HS recruit that they "coached" to greatness. Bringing in Kenyan runners and then getting out of their way does not make them great coaches.

Actually, some of their domestic walk-on guys improved a lot in college.
