All the athletes I just cited are in Athletics. They run. The ‘stature’ of a talent like Valby has the potential (eventually) to sell more shoes than those athletes.

You seriously think if a Parker Valby wanted to transfer to Oklahoma, that even at the risk of losing her interest, they would still want to hold her back a year because her Sports Management degree credits wouldn’t transfer?!?

Yes! If all her credits happen to transfer then good for her. If some of her credits don't transfer then she has to take additional classes. That's how it works.

Most athletes don't want to take extra classes so they usually won't transfer to a school if that's the case.

They either stay at their current school and finish their bachelor degree, or they keep looking around in hopes of eventually finding an admissions department that accepts the classes they've already taken.

"This person runs fast" is not part of the admissions department's decision as to whether or not to accept all of someone's credits from another school.

Which would simply mean they didn’t want her bad enough.
