As has been pointed out, doping would not close the talent gap if the more talented doped equally as the less talented.
Everyone would finish in the same order, just faster.
So, forget talent and focus on why doping is unethical.
Because it’s against the rules and cheating is unethical.
Why is it against the rules?
Because it endangers the health of the athletes to dope. And athletes willing to risk their health over others that are not, give them an unfair competitive advantage.
