When I first heard the idea of reparations, I thought it was nuts.
But when you look at the facts of slavery and structural racism on almost every level for 400 years, and it makes sense.
Try this, pretend you are a black man in American, considering the history of this country. How does it feel?
Also, realize that Keynesian economics produces a better economy than that tired, discredited beast known at "trickle down" (in reality, an excuse for the rich to raid the treasury at the expense of working Americans.)
To wit,

If government spending increases, for example, and all other spending components remain constant, then output will increase."
