I guess you can't spot sarcasm? My point is that none of the dolts debating the issue have any hard evidence to support their claims no matter which side of the argument you are on. So what are we even debating?

People who are intersex can have kids. So I don't see why this is a big deal.

But sarcasm or not, in your post you still alleged that other posters on this thread who've claimed that Jelimo has a DSD or so-called "intersex" condition are saying that this means Jelimo is neither male nor female like the rest of us. That's a big leap to make - and I saw it as an attempt to dehumanize people with DSDs by othering and monstering them. If I misinterpreted your intent, I offer my apologies.

Though the misleading, inaccurate and unfortunately stigmatizing term "intersex" suggests otherwise, the reality is that the DSD athletes whose participation and winning performances in women's track and other sports have been so controversial in recent decades are not strange creatures with conditions so mysterious, unfathomable and confounding to medical science that they can't be classified as either male or female. On the contrary, they all have DSDs that affect males and only males - and which during development in utero caused their functioning, testosterone-producing testes not to descend all the way into the scrotum and their penises not to develop properly.

Athletes with these male-only DSDs have the same genetics and myriad physical features that give all males huge advantages over females in sports. Which is why many people think it's unfair that they have been allowed to compete in the female category.

BTW, no one has ever claimed that women and girls with differences/disorders of female sex development such as CAH, Turner syndrome and MRK don't belong in female sports.

As for Jelimo specifically, like I said before, I have no idea what Jelimo's situation is.

Its a reasonable comment though, that she (or any number of people that know her) could put this to bed at anytime. Either they can't or just don't care too, or just don't care in general.

I certainly agree, its not on her (or her people) to prove anything but most people, aware of such assertions, and if assertions were false, would be eager to set the record straight.

If she is a "code compliant" female, then she is arguably the best 800 runner ever.

It could very well be in the don't care camp. Most of the evidence is her just disappearing when the limits were put in.

That race is something. Not only Jelimo in there (out in 26 flat enroute to 1:54.87) but Mutola, allowed to dominate the women's 800m for years and years, plus the Russians and Ukrainian in the race. The Russians were doping systematically from the end of the Soviet Empire until kicked out of the sport.

Is the 800m for women the sweet spot for DSD and doping?

The record is out of reach and went the DSD athletes were allowed to run rampant this event was the one they dominated.

I may be wrong about that but one of the leading experts in the matter emailed me in 2017 the following statement when similar things were being said, "I am 99% certain that Jelimo is intersex and never gave birth to a baby. It is actually possible to be intersex and give birth, but if one has an XY DSD - and it is this subset of intersex conditions that are at that root of the sports issues - then one will not be born with internal female organs, and hence cannot give birth."

Now I could be wrong as the person says 99%.
