seems real. hd runners saw Newbury park at the airport and Aaron wasn't with them.

So he's off the team now, what does he do? Is he running unattached this upcoming winter and spring? Who does he train with now?

Does newbury park have a zero tolerance policy towards alcohol? Does that alone result in immediate dismissal from the team or was there something else going on before hand, with this being a case of "the straw that broke the camel's back"?

Seeing how there was clear issues before, throughout, and after the race I’m sure Aaron drinking AFTER the race was not the problem especially considering some of these threads about him getting the boot started prior to Saturday night. Just sad circumstances that a team with this much talent will come crashing down this way hopefully they make amends.

Also for what it’s worth, as much as people like to glorify NP at the end of the day they’re still in HS so any drinking on a school trip not only gets you suspended from the team but likely school as well!

It raises interesting legal questions about whether you can be kicked off the high school team for alleged actions done on an out of school, club event. I'm not sure they could uphold this if the family fought it in court.

Yeah if you look at what the other newbury guys are posting, sharing and commenting on it looks like they’re with L&L on this. Brayden Seymour just posted a picture that looks like Aaron was intentionally cropped and several of them have shared Leo’s recent post. Even if they were told to avoid Aaron’s stuff they’re clearly supporting Lex and Leo. This also wasn’t the case until last night/this morning so something big happening Saturday night that removed Aaron from the team would fall right in line with that

So everyone who's ever won a race was doing a double L thing? I seriously doubt it.

One thing's for sure. The double Ls are definitely full of themselves. Maybe they complained to Mrs Brosnan enough that she kicked Aaron off the team solely based on their constant complaining.

Or maybe he decided to just not go back with them. In either case I'm wondering how he got back to Newbury Park. That would be irresponsible on her part if she actually left him in Oregon.

Of course you can be kicked off a team for something that happens outside of a school event. He would have absolutely zero legal recourse.

Amazing that Sahlamn finished with higher speed ratings than his brother or the twins. He will forever be a better XC runner than those 3.

Speed rating is not a real thing. Ingebrigtsen wouldn't even know what it was. Its a fake system made up to compare performances that are not comparable.

Where did he get alcohol? Like was there a decent amount of kids that got drunk at the club new Gen thing? Given New Gen's brand it wouldn't be surprising they had promoted an environment to get high schoolers drunk.

Maybe in your state, I doubt that would fly in my state, the schools don't want any responsibility for these post season, club events.

Who is ‘New Gen’? With minors involved, the actions you allege could be grounds for a lawsuit, or worse.

Let me cut through the B.S. from an outsiders perspective.

- Likely beef between L&L and Aaron leading up to NXN. Going out hard and then Aaron being more motivated and running better than we've ever seen him before.

- Aaron finally gets his spotlight and deserves it. From the L&L videos I get the impression the twins are still maturing, but Aaron is lagging a little on the maturing for a Senior. Aaron *might* have done what 90% of us *might* have done in High School. Usually alcohol is at least a suspension for High School sports.

- WesFLy Everett Smulders is taking the rumors from LetsRun and turning it into a National Enquirer story. Pretty desperate and pathetic for him to jump in, but his business is views and he's never been one to look for respect.

- Aaron has exciting potential, the raw speed and showing his range at 5k when "motivated". He will mature and we'll see some great things from him in the future, huge upside! L&L will be fun to watch at Stanford too. They will probably be on some national championship teams.

That's yours and probably the 2 Ls interpretation.

It would be hard to hold the W together above one's head when sprinting across the finish line at the end of that race, so I still think that's what he was doing.

However, presuming you're right, here's Paul Koech holding small Ls above his head after winning a steeplechase event in 2011, obviously a reference to the 2 Ls losing this cross country race in 2022.

The team that only got 4th at RunningLane had 4 guys over a 180 speed rating at the Niketown meet
