Are you joking? Guys like Waleed Suliman are making 100k out of college nowadays. Fisher is making multiples of that.
Can you do the agent salary survey again Rojo? I would be curious to see what agents think this new crop of athletes makes. They guessed almost $2M annually for Sydney before she even signed her pro contract, I wonder what they think she is getting now.

Except being a pro runner is actually enjoyable. Nephrology sucks. Med school sucks even harder. Money isn't everything in life.
I find it odd that we know how much pro athletes make in almost every other sport... soccer, NFL football, golf, tennis, baseball, basketball, cricket... yet we don't even have a ballpark estimate for pro runners.

Devon Allen is somewhere below the lowest paid NFL player on the 53-man rosters. Allen will make $207,000 if he stays on the PS all 18 weeks. If he gets called up, he'll make the minimum of about $40,000/week. It could be more.
Dennis Houston, a UDFA rookie who made the 53-man roster of the Dallas Cowboys, will make $705,000 this year on a $2.5M 3-year contract. I'm a bit surprised that Houston even made the 53 roster.
I'm guessing that Allen is making more than Fisher, especially over the next 18 weeks.

No. Fisher's base contract is likely at least $120k. With 4 ARs, a US championship win, and top world championships finishes, he likely made many multiples of that. Do you really think a guy with a Stanford engineering degree would settle for $120k as the MAX salary he could make? What do you think his base salary is?
Yes, I know several people with Stanford engineering degrees that make less than 120K. They don't look at it as "settling". They are very happy with their careers and feel like they are making a difference. One in particular makes 65k a year and couldn't be happier. Why would you think Grant is only concerned with the money? If that was the case he would never have become a pro runner.
