    Nobody has mentioned Matt Freeman because he isn't one of Rancid's lead singers. Those would be Tim Armstrong and Lars Fredericksen.

    Um no. Neil wasn't on their first record, which I think is one of their best. The Police are not way better. Neil may have been the engine that drove the band, but Geddy was in the drivers seat behind the wheel.
