Ha ha, this is nothing! Search up some of the old threads about wedding soup, Pantera, dumbbell calf raises, posing and hawtness!
I know letsrunners see trolling Matt as the national sport of Letsrun, but he has some pretty nice squats. Not absolutely perfect, but they deserve praise. Ok now go on ahead and downvote me into oblivion lol
Ok here's 350 for 3 on squats this past week at 6'0 and 216... So up 5 lbs from the previous week.
I'll have to recheck my weight lifting booklets but this has to be approaching a PR for me on squats at this body weight...
I just saw that Symmonds did a powerlifting competition this year and squatted 360... So i'm not the only distance runner turned sprinter and powerlifter who struggles with squats. And he said he weighed 195 or so in the video at 5'10.. So yeah he's about 20 lbs lighter.. But you get the point.
It's tough to squat when you basically ruin your legs for 22 years straight doing distance running.
Yep, he has some nice depth. I have a myriad of mobility issues due to many many weeks of 100+ miles in my 20s.
My lack of ankle mobility limits the ability of my knee to shoot forward to allow my hips to drop as low as Matt without some severe anterior tilt. I go to about hip crease below top of knee ie: PL depth.

Is that a 6in 'lifting belt'?
Dont. Just Dont. 4in all the way around, If using the cheap 4in tapered w flat 4in section to the front.
