Yes. I couldn't stand her on the earlier evening broadcasts with Rob Walker ("wow, you're excited..."), but she has improved a little each day (or become a little less bad), and today she actually seemed like she was enjoying the heptathlon with Hannah England. Her reminiscences of JJK's greatness and banter on the crabwalking javelin approach were actual positive contributions.
She is a still a long way from being a capable analyst (Dan O'Brien's discussion of the various javelin grips and who uses them added far more color--they should throw to him more often), but enthusiasm is a part of commentating (something England and Walker bring a ton of to every event), and it was good to see Gail giving us a little of that.
