This dude was almost there several times which just goes to show that sub four is normally achieved in context. When you see a sub four lead from gun to tape with no pressure from behind - that’s truest! He’s been made fun of a lot but now the critics can all F-off!
And no one questions Tinmans training for developing high schoolers. It’s at the pro level where they never perform when it counts.
I'd have an easier time buying this if there wasn't a 7 page thread titled "Rheinhardt Harrison can’t break 4 in the mile". Most of the people in there are supportive of him, but undoubtedly some of the hate TME gets trickles down to Tinman's athletes, even if TME isn't coached by him anymore.
Anyone that wants to question it was a full mile...here you go idiots and haters. Also both turns were also coned.
East Lake High School is a former yard track oval (440yds) painted and measured for metric distances, so the 1600 starts further into the first turn since longer than 400m per lap. See the difference in 1600/mile start lines at the same venue. pic.twitter.com/Zwow9LKVru
Is your head ok? No one hates Tinman, they hate TME.

The way Tom trains his athletes for most of the year is pretty solid. When it comes to peaking and the specific training, that is where I think it starts to fall apart. Granted, Drew and other athletes he coached have run well when it counts. However, I believe his training as he described it years ago in his forum (The Run Zone) is superior to what he was doing with Tinman Elite when he moved to Boulder. Coaches change their minds about things.
