This seems like the athlete's fault, not the coaches. If they were lazy in practice and knew they weren't scholarship material in the SEC why didn't they just stay at Penn State? You use the scholarship to get a top class education for free, not to try and win NCAA titles. That is poor planning.

If she hasn't been fired, then it's real easy for them to disprove it. UT is fairly active on social media. UT's Instagram hasn't been updated in two days. A couple of their athletes I follow have been quiet since the weekend.

I was an athlete in the program from 2017-2021 and can confirm from friends still in the program that she has been removed from team GroupMe chats, along with her husband who is the vault coach, and her niece who is a team manager. I would send a picture of it but I do not know how to do that on here.
She recruited kids to Penn State that could have scored in sprints in the Big 10 but had no chance in the SEC. So when they came with her (she didn’t ask them to) to Knoxville she cut them because she knew they had no chance to score in the SEC. They also had been extremely lazy in their opening practices on campus.
Those kids were given scholarships by the previous coaches. It was in the news and all over this website for a number of weeks. One followed JJ Clark to Connecticut. I did track the results of a couple of them for a couple of seasons. They preformed at a level that could win some points at meets, even conference. But not beyond that. Don't know how the first recruits she brought in did at Tennessee. Overall, it wasn't a good look on the school.
If this news proves true (still waiting on any official announcement from UT in the middle of a weekday) then something highly inappropriate must have come to light.
It is true. It just has not come out yet. The alumni all know the she has been fired, even the 50 year old alumni like me. An announcement will be posted within the coming days.
Then it probably means lawyers and AD officials are revising terms of severance.
The same thing happened when the Powell’s left for Washington. It leaked on here a day or two prior to the actual announcement. I don’t think you would have athletes, former athletes, and alumni saying that it’s true if it was a big rumor. I’m not saying it is 100% true but there seems to be a lot involved with the program agreeing that it’s true.
Old people tend to struggle with technology so I doubt they meant to post it twice.

I mean she let Britton Wilson slip through her grasp that enough to me is grounds for dismissal. Not to mention the loss of hurdlers vanessa Watson and alexis duncan. While the men performed admirably this year the women have been nothing but lackluster and uncompetitive. That program needs a new direction for a while now its been on its last leg the loss of their last few stars made that apparent.

Two family members employed by her. Can that be legal? I'll bet the AD didn't know that the team manager was related.
