To help you folks I specifically listed the thread #s for all of these predictions. Some how you missed that.
Yeah but if people are being completely ridiculous and absurd at some point you have to push back
I mean the beliefs people argue for have to impact the decisions they make about important stuff like health and safety so it's good to try to talk some sense to people
I mean take this example, the midfoot striker who is a pretty reasonable poster, maybe a little bold, but certainly not spreading crazy nonsense. All he did was say two Runners would be outside the top 10 who ended up being number one and number four. In the past there have been people who predicted other runners in the top 10 when they finished well outside the top 100
I mean I do think fast touhy was a little quicks to call him out on that when like he said, fast touhy was off with his 2020 predictions
I think he's being a little Coy about it but I do remember him also singing the Praises of three or more of the following, Stanford, Sophia dudek, logue, and herberg as standouts when they didn't do verywell,

So who's everybody got for top 5 individuals and teams? Which schools are all in on cross-country? Which Runners have gone up or down based on conference Championship performances? Let's hear what everyone has to say!
One other thing if it is not clear from rereading that thread. Many thought Stanford as good. And they were good. Despite the Dudek injury and placing 156th or whatever they finished 3rd as a team, 46 points back of NC State and 111 behind BYU. They had 8-11-45-70-73-125-148. Move Dudek from 125 (team) to even 25 and they are 2nd.
Why are you guys arguing about predictions? Making predictions is meant to be fun. Who cares if past predictions didn't pan out? Just make predictions and quit arguing.
I'm going to be a wimp and not make too many predictions. There are too many closely contested events. The mile is the one I'm most looking forward to. Almost anyone in the field could win it.
I hope that Tuohy wins the 5000 but I think it's going to be Wayment. Tuohy actually has a better chance in the 3000, IMHO.
The DMR should be a great race with all teams being within 10 seconds of each other.
Non distance related, I'm looking forward to the sprints also. The 60 is wide open and the favorites are Alia Armsrong (LSU), Grace Stark (Florida), Abby Steiner (Kentucky), and Julien Alfred (Texas). It's all going to come down to the start. I'm also thinking that Steiner may hold something in reserve for the 200. She also will have 4x400 duty.
In the 200, Steiner is not as much of an overwhelming favorite as everyone thinks. She is the current "it girl" (woman) in the world of sprinting but she will be challenged by Anavia Battle of Ohio State and Favour Ofili of LSU. If Steiner can have Battle on the outside in front of her, she can lower her collegiate record and perhaps slip under 22. I can't see her scaring the World Record at this point, though. She has many years ahead of her for that. If Steiner is in a lane ahead of Battle or Ofili, there could be an upset with Battle having the edge.
Sorry for the sprint predictions in a distance thread but I can't make any other distance predictions.

What are your predictions for the top ten? Ceili McCabe has looked like a force all season, streaking away from the likes of Chmiel and Roe on the final straight of Nuttycombe with ease. Top talent that she has defeated this...

I love the way people carefully choose their words. First "The fact is you never seem to make any clear and decisive predictions" is apparently supposed to mean no predictions "in the 2020 cross-country prediction thread".
