Why? It is pretty useless now, If you are afraid, just get vaccinated.

Yes. Even though we likely have the highest vaccination rates in the country and our hospitals have never been at risk for being overcapacity, masks are required indoors everywhere (and have been for almost 2 years beside a 2 month respite from May-August) . I’m thankful most people don’t wear them outdoors anymore. Most of Colorado will be dropping their mask mandates, but Boulder is a special place. I got vaccinated after having Covid to help end this but some places don’t seem to ever want to end it. I used to lean left, but Covid is pushing me right. We all need to follow science and not politics and there’s no reason for these crazy mandates. 🙄
Boulder does NOT have the highest vaccination rate in the country. It is fairly high…., but we still struggle bro because some of the area libertarian douche bags, especially commuting in from Weld, don’t get it. The case numbers are not that good in Boulder right now

Yeah, but you have no problem killing young people. I bet you're one of those who supported lockdowns which have effectively ruined the future for everyone.
The best part, those old people you 'saved' are still going to die very soon.

Unless it is by letting thuggs, addicts and murderers run the streets.
are you insane? what does wearing a mask during a pandemic have to with 'thuggs, addicts and murders running the streets'
unless by murderers running the street you mean a bunch of unmasked unvaxxed people spreading disease to innocent people.
wear a mask. save lives.

st Petersburg, Russia
required, enforced or just generally followed : public transit, supermarkets
smaller shops are like 50/50
required, but not enforced and vast majority does not wear masks: restaurants, gyms, office spaces
not required, nobody wears masks: outside
Sometimes I see people driving their cars masked and I'm like WTF

I remember how I used to worry about catching cold or flu when peaking for a race. Now that wearing masks in public spaces is ok worldwide, not only in Asia, you bet I will wear them if I have to leave home at any time 3 weeks prior to my A race
The science is clearly supporting that mask mandates don’t work. Places with mask mandates don’t have lower Covid rates. It’s theater at this point.
Right before omicron people were wearing masks a lot less. I would say about 75% of workers are wearing masks and about 40% of customers are wearing masks. I vacationed for a bit in Phoenix and noticed virtually 0 mask wearing which was cool. Compare that to Portland where 99% of people were wearing masks, even just walking around by themselves outside.

“Certain situation?” There’s an indoor mask mandate and 99.99% of people still wear them even though they are all vaxxed/boosted and ‘Cron is a cold.
Boston is fvcking stupid masked up.
yep, got kicked out of an elevator at my apartment complex because I wasn't wearing a mask. I tried to tell him that I had covid a few weeks ago and there was almost no chance I could spread it to him but he still made me get out, smh.

Well I hope you're wearing a condom right now. If you're not protecting yourself while other people have sex you're being shamelessly reckless with their health.
Yes. Omicron is highly contagious. Just ask the thousands of unvaccinated who died this week. Oh...you can't they are dead. 896K dead in the U.S. and still rising unfortunately.

Boulder is very blue, unfortunately.
And I'm someone who is pro-vax and pro-mask in certain spots but not all. But these governments want ALL areas to be masked. It's safety theater and virtue-signaling at this point. I can understand mask mandates pre-vaccines, to be fair, but with working vaxxes we shouldn't need masks everywhere.
You can be BOTH pro-vaccine AND against government mandates that are excessive.
(I will concur that masks on an airplane, where the ventilation sucks, should be mandatory).
In Colorado Springs, masks required in obvious locations, doctor dentist hair cut hospital, but only recommended in public places. I choose not to wear as I am boosted, but have at it if you want to wear one. Manitou Springs is like Boulder, more required but they kindly allow us to not wear one outside doing the Incline.
Be smart and safe is my motto

Clarification. Isn't it the vaccine's job to prevent them from dying? All of you 'mask up' people are doing nothing but sowing distrust in the vaccines.
