The guy the Giants hired was a freakin special teams coach!!!!!! Spare me with that “best qualified” crap. No way in hell was he the most qualified.
I had a job opening with a out 8 qualified applicants. I hired the guy with the least experience. He had 2 years where everyone else had 10-20.
He interviewed well, fit our culture best, and I had a feeling he would have hmthe higher ceiling.
I hire 75% on feel and 25% on skill and am very successful
Maybe that was the situation here
