So that is 6 spots left containing names such as (in no order) Brees, Marino, Unitas, Staubach, Rodgers, Young, Bradshaw (the Bill Russell factor - he still did win 4 rings), Graham, Bart Starr, Favre and Roethlisberger.
I am NOTpushing for Bradshaw as a top 10, but he is only lacking the gaudy stats.
He was on a team that rarely threw the ball more than 20 times a game in an era when DB's could basically mug receivers until the ball arrived. Lineman could take 3-4 more steps after the pass and level the QB without even a warning.
I believe if Bradshaw played in today's QB protected, O-lineman holding, and Swann/Stallworth running free, he would put up some exceptional stats to go with 4 super bowl wins in 6 years.
