Yeah, I can see the argument for wearing it as a way to honor the Apalachee. And, yes, it kind of looked cool (in a goofy high school XC kind of way) on the starting line Saturday. But early 18th century raids by England's Carolina colony to enslave the Apalachee were led by one John Moore. His nationality? Irish.

Whazziss about Carlson and Yared going to Hoka as a package deal?? Say it ain't so, Joe!! Source? Carlson has done a great job at ND -- both recruiting and coaching - and they are lucky to have him. They took a chance, hiring him directly out of a high school coaching job, and it has paid off enormously. One of his many strengths is knowing how to get his runners to their peaks at the right time. 2021 Nattys was a hiccup. Look at all the successes both in XC and on the track over the past 10 years. ND is running better than it has in decades.
On the other hand, maybe you're talking about someone else. Nguste???
