Whom did the LetsRun.com visitors vote for in the 2020 US Presidential Election?

This was actually shocking. So when are you going to clean up this website?

Not so. Yahoo completely changed their policy to not allow any comments at all because their leftist writers were being humiliated by everyday Americans ravaging their columns.

I find this result hilarious. For a month before the election I'd been telling everyone I knew that I didn't believe the polls because I thought the country was full of closet Trumpies who lied or refused to talk to pollsters but would come out and vote on election day. And why did I think that? Largely from reading LetsRun, where 90% of the politically oriented posts are right-wing. I would have expected a bunch of runners, who tend to be better educated and younger than the population as a whole, to be more Biden-leaning. The fact that they appeared to be the opposite scared me to death.

But now we find out that the LetsRun audience is apparently much Biden-leaning than the country as a whole. How to explain this? Perhaps, as many have suggested, the moderators selectively delete left-leaning posts. However, it seems more likely to me that the left-leaners treat this as a running site, not a political site, and post accordingly. Only the right-wingers (some of them) try to hijack these boards to express their political beliefs.

Or perhaps the left-leaners are bullied into keeping their mouths shut on this site. Kind of the opposite of the nationwide polling bias whereby Trump supporters were shamed into keeping quiet.

This results surprises me too. I've only been visiting Letsrun regularly for the last two years or so, but as I've explored the message boards it has felt at times like I've wandered into the wrong part of the internet.. I've slowly gotten used to it, but the boards really are a vile cesspool of nastiness. Threads often have a weird right-wing hysteria feeling in them--there are often reasonable arguments being made among the posts but these seem to be primarily ignored and swallowed up by the bile. I honestly enjoy the articles and podcasts that the site produces and would be happy to support it as such, but can't possibly imagine giving money to a place like this where the message boards are so toxic and full of utter nonsense, giving the whole operation an air of unprofessionalism. The fact that Biden was so overwhelmingly favored by the poll suggests that there are many others like me who tolerate the site despite it's serious flaws and could imagine a much better place where the message boards are actually related to running and can support contributions from professional runners and coaches without those people being embarrassed to post in such an environment.

I voted for Trump I have found he got stuff done and is a firm good leader. The Obama administration was trash we as a country fell behind under him. People voted for Biden because they did not like Trump which is a very bad reason to vote someone into office. All of the promises he has made to the lower class free loader will not be full filled and in 4 years when he is voted out we will spend the next 12 to fix the mess he will create.

You have serious anger issues, competence issues and are completely intolerant of those who think differently from you. Who someone votes for does not dictate whether they are a pleasant person to be around. The people that want to bring up politics out of nowhere, and ask you why you don't vote the same as them are the ones that have no friends.

You need to get help in dealing with your anger, and also understanding that you are intolerant and narrow minded by lumping 48% of the country into one category.
