You, I mean all 3 of your personalities, are right and have made some valid points.

When I ran Boston, I too walked on the shoulder for many periods of the race, and then started running when I felt like.

I also hid my number as I was too proud of my efforts and didn't want too many people recognizing me and praising me repeatedly after my heroic race.

I also ran a 10k pr pace late in the race...I was REALLY feeling gooooood!

My hat? Well, I feel it necessary to finish and start with a different logo as it too would clash with my efforts.

Changing my shoes, even in short races? I thought that everyone did that.

I would simply just place them by a tree and changed about 4 miles in as to avoid blisters that would occur from the other shoes if I ran too fast in them for too long. Sure, it took a couple minutes to complete the shoe change, but I made up for it by running so fast the last 2 miles. I am still perplexed as to why nobody remembers seeing me run by them at 4:30 pace!

Not hitting mats in a few races (some that didn't exist), I too have ran by them so fast that the receiving just didn't register my chip....did I mention that I was fast?

Anyways, The Trollist and his other alias's have to be right or how else can it be explained?

Forget Kip Litton. If this writer had any sense, he'd do an investigation and article on Dean Reinke. He's been scamming runners for decades and is still getting away with it.

I'm still amazed at the race where he was looking back and nonchalantly crossing the starting mat and starting his watch shortly after. I am even more amazed that there were that many runners with no sight in the race, that no one saw him pass them, not one!

That is magical man and definitely makes one look innocent. People who can actually do that brag about it, want it to be known, and are seen by dozens and dozens of runners and spectators. In this case, THAT didn't happen.

Re-read my post for the answer that you appear to be looking for. In addition, start a thread about her if you like as from what I've read, this thread isn't about her.

Unless I was given misinformation, the article is slated for the 3rd week of June! I don't care as I know the who, how and why already, but a lot of you seem to want to hear it from him. Hope someone can confirm it.
