Well folks. If you marry someone older or previously married it will end...not might, will. Be sure you do something you really enjoy in this life and, or pursue other dreams. Martin Luther was right, you can be both celibate and married happily, but not after reconciling years of frustration.

Once the husband is over 40 he won't care either. At least it is equal then.

My husband and I had what I thought was "good" sex from the time we met, until we married, and up until I got pregnant(two years after marriage). Then he immediately ran off and cheated on me with someone much younger, and our sex-life dwindled. I stayed with him for 7 years after that moment of indescretion (it turns out that wasn't the only moment), and our sex life never picked back up (go figure).

Now, after being divorced for alomost 9 months, I'm having the most amazing sex I've ever had in my life. No, I'm not re-married, I'm just dating and having needs met that I didn't even know I had. And the most amazing thing is that I'm re-gaining a self-confidence about my body that I'd lost in my marriage. All of my friends used to think I was crazy when I told them I hated my body, but a lot of that was beacuse my husband would harp on the tiniest imperfection. Now, I've got these guys fawning over me and praising my body. And while I know it's probably superficial, I'm still eating it up and it's doing wonders for my self-esteem! And I never knew that guys could actually last for more than fifteen minutes and have more than one orgasm! So for now, at the age of 36, I say screw marriage, and have safe fun while you can. I'm loving every minute of it (although, deep down, I do want to find someone to settle down with who is a freak in bed and will stay that way after we get married!).

Here is the problem, from my inexperienced, idealistic, naive point of view: if you build a relationship on anything besides Jesus, you will likely be miserable and unsatisfied. I know, I know, 90% of people who just read this thought: you self-righteous Jesus freak, you know nothing about the world or love, and bringing up Jesus destoys any credibility that you may have had. Nonetheless, what I have written is true.

And yes, there are thousands of professing Christians in miserable marriages with dismal sex lives and a total lack of intimacy. Those people do not know Christ as they ought, and have forsaken the command of Jesus to love your wife as He loved the church and died for her.

How would you know? At 23 years old how could you possibly know what works and what doesn't? I don't think you're a Jesus freak, I just think you're a poor dumb kid who has no clue about life. The world is full of 40 year olds who thought they knew "the secret" at 23, only to be schooled by reality later.

I know, I know. You probably think I'm a poor lost wayward soul who simply does not possess your deep insight into "the way of Christ". Nonetheless what I have written is true.
