Athing Mu did not look good. She was running in lane 2 the whole way until she lost contact .

my guess is kersee takes her speed for granted. thinks he can just work on her as a mid d athlete, and the speed will be there for her.
I could be a million miles off though.
she wouldn't be the first 800m runner who washed out after a great 3 year stretch.
