Umm I think you are all forgetting about the real dark horse… Concordia’s Cooper Folkstead!! Watch out! His splash zone will take out the rest of the field!
Nobody has mentioned that Fitzgerald already ran 9:14 which is faster than his opener last year. I’d expect but things from Deaver after a big Fall but some setbacks Indoor.
The Future drops his 2025 debut Saturday versus the best the Gophers have to offer. With those seeds I have to ask if Power had a hand in making them up.
Calvin and Lars going alone in the 5K. Where’s Mo? Or is the rumor true. Is he really going to Stanford?
And why doesn’t Ricks think Roy can break 2?
Bocovich ran a massive PR of 28:25 at Stanford last night. I know Devin ran pretty fast after graduation, but I don’t know if he holds the MIAC alumni record or not.
Bocovich has taken a minute off his 10K since leaving Northfield and has potential for another 30 seconds later this year. Will be interesting to see what he can run for 5K. 13:30’s has to be a possibility. Wonder if he regrets staying in D3 for so long and only being challenged by Mo and the La Crosse guys.
Now that he has figured out the track side of things Mo already has a more accomplished career at the national scale. He isn’t a time trial racer, so he may never run as fast as Logan, but he’ll go down as the better runner from a national performance perspective.
What’s going on with live results at Hamline? Why does Wayzata also suck.
And why is Trevor competing unattached?
Whoah, that is a seriously fast time. I think Bocovich now ranks in the top 15 All-Time for both D2 & D3 10k. I doubt many have had that opportunity. How old is he now? I know Kelly is much older than his class, but don’t know as much about Bocovich. Seems he only really was fast as a senior.
Interestingly, Power told my brother that Turlington is ahead of Bocovich’s progression as a junior. I don’t know if I see him having success at the 10K distance though.
Bocovich is younger than Bati

After a series of monster PR’s when do we expect The Future to open his steeple season? I’m predicting 8:57-8:58 in his first race.
Give or take
Today was a terrible day for an Outdoor race. Times don’t mean anything unless you ran the 200m. I was impressed to see Goss with the D1 guys but they let him do a lot of the work. Very impressive 800 races from the Johnny crew as they let Meier and Lelinga do the work early. Thought Gabe had a nice double too.
How many Houston basketball players could Power beat in a mile race?
And why is the whole MIAC going to Bethel? Who wants a ten hour track meet?
A better question is who wins the throwers 4 x 100. A Trent vs. Cooper anchor leg would be one for the ages!

I don't think Power could beat Cooper in a 100m run, roll, or walk.
Cooper would win the olympics in any rolling race.
Why are the distance races so bad at Bethel? If five guys break 16 I'll be shocked.
It's nice of the Gopher sprinters to come give Bethel competition though. And the random UW-La Crosse guys too.
Anyone whos anyone is rolling with the neers
Some of those seed times are criminal.
The oles getting in the second heat over reece is criminal. This northfield bias must end. someone needs to report those times and Power for blantalty lieing. reece crushed fitzgerald at confrence in the 3k and he has never even ran a 5k. how does he get at 14:30

His 8:30 3K and 9:00 steeple both have really a high World athletics score. Platteville allows conversions using that table. That’s the only way any MIACer made any of the fast heat. I don’t think Reece can beat Hartney, but I do think he’s way better in most distances than Fitzgerald and Gael. His own teammate is the superior 5K runner though.
Schofer clearly doesn’t believe in lying and I’d guess his guys run exactly his seed times. While I hate Power as much as the rest of the MIAC, nobody mentioned the ambitious seed for Gabe. If I’m Roy, I’m angry Ricks showed such clear favoritism to Gabe.
