Good post, this is what it comes down to, the $$$$$$$$$$'s.

No wonder Steve Holehan (who we've now found out is her husband) is defending her so vigorously, he can see the dollars going up in smoke. Not to mention the fact they"ll be ostracized and shunned as frauds and shams, à la Tammy and Jim Bakker.

No more sham race money, no more product endorsement money, etc, etc, just like Lance's, they'll all drop her.

Good riddance I say, another cheater less, whatever their motivation may have been.

At the Texas Marathon this year on January 1. There was a woman, Angela Tortorice, who was yelling on the course about PM cheating during that race. Does anyone here know her?

How long before the Texas Beef Council and her other "sponsors" mooooove away from her and her posse of cheaters. Stevie better start working on the message. Maybe you can get a job to make up the difference.

Interesting facts. Does the Galloway plan still exist? As I recall people would pay for his indirect guidance and someone(s) in each community could be a franchisee of the concept and would make $ by recruiting people. It would appear that there is a subsegment of the jogging world that will pay $$$ to turn their training runs into official races so they "count" toward some lifelong stats and get more street cred in marathonmaniacs. Am I wrong? It might appear that a person could have theoretically spent $70 per day for many days in a row to run (more likely jog/walk) 3-4 hr half marathons. If someone wants to pay to have their runs count as races, then so be it. It's a free enterprise country.

Err, as you asked and as it doesn't seem that obvious to you, because they know/suspect beyond reasonable doubt that she's a cheat (like a lot of others do too it seems).

What other motivations they have only they can answer, and although the thread is about cheating at marathons any gossip should add to the overall entertainment value.

True, They have shown that PM may run her own marathons at whatever time she decides. Early start is a normal part of 50 Staters races. As long as the RD approves then its OK. It was even pointed out the the Boston Marathon RD runs after the race. So no foul there.

No one has shown any proof that she has cheated in marathons. A couple of people mention BW. But they were contacted by the posters here which makes their motivation questionable. Were these runners contacted before Badwater and asked to look for something? Reportedly they were also trying to discredit BW 2013. Saying they didn't see her isn't good enough to pass the RD DQ test. Her pacing and times look legitimate.

Their motivation of preserving the integrity of the sport is questionable.

They have been posting since July and haven't provided evidence of "cheating in marathons".

The motivation is tha she is a massive cheater. This needs to end and it will soon. 3 separate runners saw her cheat at bw. And their crews !!! It's wrong and it needs to be addressed. When this all cones out, which it is in the works as we speak you will all sy you heard of this story first on this blog. Stay tuned.

Let me reintegrate this one last time in case you have not read all 20 pages...

Last time she was seen by most in the race is when she got in the damn car at mile 103 of bw (135 mi race) and drove towards lone pine and the finish of the race. A runner and his crew saw it!! And then she finishes in front of him !!?!? Facts people. Facts

They really need to work on their post race goodies. Bottles of Coke, baked Lays, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, homemade bread(?)... That picture is like an I Spy picture for lousy marathons.
