Yep, no points there either. Looks like women's distance didn't score either, but they placed relatively better than men's distance (despite not scoring points).

Adam Bray just got hired at Pitt, and didn't have experience to get that job, why would Illinois call him back ?

What happened to Gavin Kennedy? He was only at Ole Miss for 1 year. Before that at Illinois for ONLY 1 year! He's been all over the place and only stays at places for brief periods. How do coaches like this get jobs? Don't their employers research their previous employment???

Most ADs dont go into much detail about running... they're just desperate to hire someone...

Coaches need to stop thinking the SEC is a great place, it is a den of snakes and cutthroats, you can have success and still be out of a job, you can recruit a great class and still be out of a job, hell you can win a championship and still be out of a job. If have security and a great position at a non SEC school, STAY where you are.

These firings can't be explained through performance alone. They got hired at end of summer. May not have even been in charge of their summer training before entering FIRST year.

And for the record, the sprints coach was way hotter than Dawson.

ADs do not hire assistant coaches, this is the head coaches hiring. I am sure Ole Miss AD has no clue who Gavin Kennedy is.

They are meeting with potential candidates at the national meet.

At the end of the day Gavin is a good recruiter and any school would be happy to have him on their staff. just look at what he was able to recruit to Ole Miss in one year(in limbo now). I bet the only reason the remaining staff are still there is because they are all "YES (Wo)MAN". Insecure Head Coaches will always surrpund themselves with these type of individuals. You go against the grain, you are out of there.
