Maybe, but probably not. In any case, it is not relevant. Sage didn't talk about running. Nor doping.
I do know one or two things about performance trends.
He talked about both. In relation to doping in the sport he said you are the least informed poster on these boards. If you think he wasn't saying that then what was he saying about you?
OK then. If he talked about both, tell me what knowledge and information Sage provided about running? Or doping? Or is this another bluff? I predict you will not be able to respond, and this will give me the answer I already know.
You are laboring under a deluded misperception that if only I knew all the things you did, or Sage did, that I could only arrive at the one and the same conclusion you have, with no room left for doubts. But neither you nor Sage have said anything I did not already know, and I know more than enough to separate assumption and mythology from the known facts, observations, and evidence.
If you would be "happy" to be challenged with facts and evidence you must be amongst the most miserable of men because in all the years you have come here no one has presented what you recognise are facts and evidence.
That you think I am only "alluding" to reality when talking about the sport show how far your head is buried in your own compost. I have only talked about what I see happening in the outside world, including the views of those who live in it. It isn't my world or my imagination. An imaginary world is your domain.
I do find it curious and puzzling that some people seem to genuinely conflate assumptions and beliefs and opinions and fallacies with facts and observations and evidence and logic.
But this doesn't make me miserable.
I'm quite content with the number of papers, articles, documentaries and reports that I do find, either on my own, or sometimes from other posters in threads here, that form the rich factual basis of my opiniions and conclusions and doubts.
What I said about your "allusions" to reality is that you are never specific. You are not specific here either, only further confirming what I said.
It isn't "what happened in cycling". We have the solitary case of Lance Armstrong, whose doping practices were disclosed by his busted team mates. That isn't "cycling" but one case. There is no equivalent in running because athletes don't work together and compete as teams as did in the "US Postal Service". But we do see the continuous stream of doping violations in running to know that it is throughout the sport.
The information that is available about doping confirms that it is a longstanding practice that is increasingly sophisticated and could only continue if it produced results for those who use it. That isn't "guessing". No one has to lie as much to themselves as you do to not see what is in front of your face.
Solitary case of Armstrong? Besides Armstrong, there are, as you mentioned, the mulitiple cases of his teammates, some of whom have written books. There are fellow non-Postal cyclists ranging from David Millar to Jan Ulrich. Ferrari has also said a lot over the years. The UCI even formed a CIRC commission to investigate what happened and how and why.
As you concede there are no equivalent first-hand accounts in distance running, for whatever irrelevant reasons, despite the decades longstanding practice and number of busted athletes, you are still just guessing.

More waffle. Sage said you are the least informed poster on these boards on the subject of doping. It is clear enough and doesn't require elaboration or explanation. You've shown it to be true time and again.

There aren't equivalent cases of runners ratting on other runners because unlike cyclists they aren't part of a team, cheating together. But it's just another way you seek to minimise and even deny doping in distance running. So the endless violations coming out of Kenya show you nothing. There is no end to your flat-earthism.
No, MOST everybody dopes. The proof is in the numbers. Or you can just listen to Reky.
Which numbers?
Of course. They are all made up. No one is doping. Least of all Kenyan distance runners. But it is odd that every second thread begins with fresh doping violations.
Sorry Reky, I need to consider your obtuseness. The number IS... the number of Kenyans current under suspernsion for doping as of this second. I hope that clears it up for you.

Like I thought. Sage didn't talk about either running or doping. You are wrong again.

He said "MOST" and that the "proof is in the numbers."

Sorry Jaky, that does not prove "MOST everybody dopes."

The reasons you lack real world information are not relevant -- it is enough for me to know you don't have any real information, so it is just you guessing.
Since you are a person with no proven experience in any relevant domain, I think it is most appropriate to completely discount and dismiss all of your guessing. It would be different if you could refer to evidence, observations, and facts.

So he was discussing your knowledge of opera - or something else? You keep proving him right, about how clueless you are.
