Everytime you post, there is this phrase just above the "Post Reply" button:
"By posting you acknowledge that you have read and abide by our Terms and Conditions."
One of the terms you acknowledge that you have read and abide by with each and every click of "Post Reply" is:
"LetsRun.com may remove content at its sole discretion for any reason whatsoever,"
and again:
"You understand that LetsRun.com does not pre-screen content but it may remove content at its sole discretion for any reason whatsoever."
Not sure I understand your point. I would never suggest that the brothers or moderators have no right to exercise any level of censorship they wish. My point is that it has ruined the site, truncated discussion, been implemented capriciously, and made the place a lot less fun.

This is not really my point, and, sorry, it is not really directed at you. If you think the site has become less fun as a result of moderation, fair enough.
I see a lot of hostility towards the moderators from a collection of many posters here, and wonder if all of these critics acknowledge, read, abide, and understand what they agree to with each and every post.
Quite bluntly, because it’s hypocritical for you to call a thread running-related when you try desperately to make it about anything BUT running.
It IS connected to running. Women fought for decades to get equal opportunities to compete in a variety of sports, particularly running. Women weren't allowed to run marathons, pole vault, etc, etc. And we see remnants today, with a heptathalon instead of decathalon, for example.
Gender identity as it pertains to fairness, opportunity, and equality is the single most relevant topic in running today, as evidenced by the sheer number if posts and divergent opinions. Even more so that PED proliferation, in my opinion.
Avoiding discussing it for fear of cancellation (why else delete?) is downright cowardly. If it's to protect Nikki or others from criticism, I'm not sure that's productive either.
These issues NEED to be debated. Opinions must be voiced. Sides must he taken. Nuances must be considered. It's the only way to seek clarity and resolution. While LR is not a governing body of any kind, it is a fair representation of public voice - both good, bad, and in between.
So let then people talk. Not all 50+ comments on the Nikki thread were hateful attacks. If there are some - delete them! But to silence the entire discussion is pathetic and just delaying the inevitable.

This issue isn't going away.
I would love to sit here and defend the LGBTQ community but the moderators will just ban me for three weeks if I say anything. So we can’t really discuss this topic.

Seems like there are and can be threads to discuss systemic trans in sports issues without flooding every Nikki Hiltz thread with the same tired “wHy DoEs NiKkI aLwAyS fEeL lIkE a WoMaN oN rAcE dAy” trash that contributes nothing. No?
But my point was that a specific poster calling it a running related thread when he always diverts from discussing running on Hiltz threads is hypocritical/disingenuous.
