Well, to be fair, she did appear to recognize that Japan is a nation that we once defeated in war. That puts her WAY ahead of most Americans. A recent poll indicates that 31% of Americans could not name ONE Asian nation. The same poll showed that 57% of Americans believe that Germany and Russia were the two (and the only two) nations that fought against us in WWII.

Well, to be fair, the US did not defeat Japan in war. The US was not capable for defeating Japan's military and took the unprecedented military "solution" to drop nuclear bombs on Japanese civilians. So, murder the families safely back at home to defeat a military unit your cannot win against. Yup.

The other reason I think Manafort will not get a pardon and will not flip is because Gates has flipped already. Gates was with the campaign a lot longer and he was involved in the transition. Gates already knows most everything Manafort knows. So Mueller doesn't have much incentive to make a deal with Manafort. And therefore Trump doesn't have much incentive to keep Manafort quiet.

This particular daily tracking poll has not been made public. Without the polling data, statements about sampling, etc, the tweet is meaningless.

That's not just Americans. Average IQ is 100. So roughly half of all test takers will fall below 100.

But this is a problem of education, not intelligence. Before we knew that the Earth revolves around the sun there were plenty of very smart people who believed sun moved across the earth each day.

What's fair to say is that Americans don't care about education. Americans often prefer stupid over smart. Thus, we get president Trump.
