I am going to call out CNN for a headline they have:

"Sanders 'can't guarantee' Trump hasn't used the n-word"

Come one.

I can't guarantee Obama hasn't raped babies. That doesn't imply that he did.

They need to do better than that.

The administration says enough bad things that you don't have to twist their words for a headline.

I want a trumpet to opine, preferably Gary. This is a legit concern, yet none have anything to say about it. Had it come out that Obama made his admin sign NDAs the right would have completely lost it and demanded his head on a spike. I want to know if trumpers think this is ok (not whether it’s legal or not - whether you think it’s right or necessary)

In this post we see exhibited the classical move deflecting from an accusation that is demonstrably true by referring to l false accusations that have any bearing on reality only in the parallel universe of wholehearted trump supporters for who what they see and what they hear is not true, unless their leader told them that it is - no matter if he said something else just a week ago.

Now I'm fully expecting the handlestealer to creep out of his closet and make a weak attempt at being funny, probably by making entirely irrelevant and false accusations about Hillary, but the problem is that he is both phenomenally stupid and out of his skull delusional, kind of like Gary, so noone will take his post seriously.

It’s pretty common in the corporate world to have NDAs for Sr VP and C-levels. Perhaps this is what Trump was used to and wanted to bring it to WH.

I gave you a ton of other names of people who clearly were bad hires and asked you why you won't criticize Trump for those hires. Also, you like to say that we don't get it, but you do nothing to describe what it is you are talking about. IF we actually don't get it, you aren't doing a good job helping us get it.

I will boil this down to two questions:

1) Who are the "best people" that Trump has hired?

2) Do you see problems with Trump's judgement in hiring (or attempting to hire in the case of Ronny Jackson) any of the following: Flynn, Manafort, Gates, Carter Page, Papadopolous, Tom Price, Wilbur Ross, DeVos, Ben Carson as HUD Director, Tillerson as Secretary of State (even he said he was not qualified), Scott Pruitt, Ronny Jackson to head the Veterans Affairs Department, Hope Hicks (she sure is pretty but had ZERO experience for the job she was hired to do), Rob Porter, Scaramucci.

Unfortunately the two things are not equivalent. If we went back to any other two political candidates for President in modern times, the reactions would be similar from both sides, but...

This is especially true now that we have seen Trump in office for over a year...that is also what makes this an unbalanced experiment. We have never had a President who uses divisiveness and hate so openly and consistently, so much so that many Republicans are against him. MOST of America is against that type of behavior, so of course there would be more push back to a person wearing one of those stupid hats.

Well, that would be silly because that in no way follows a scientific method. Trump has been in office for over a year now, during which time we have more clearly seen how criminal and how racist a person he is. He has always used NDAs in his business, so he just kept doing what he knows. It's all ridiculous, because he is a ridiculous person.

Yep. That is a big part of Trump's problem. He wasn't elected King. What is most ironic is that his firing of Comey is what kicked off the much more microscopic investigation into his personal dealings, and it for sure has uncovered a lot more than Comey's typical FBI investigation would have. And all because he felt he had unlimited power. Tisk tisk.

I will say though that if he hadn't fired Comey, it is possible a Special Counsel could have been assembled later on just due to Trump's continuing bad behavior or due to anything that might have come to light under Comey's investigation, but Trump did accelerate it.

I 100% agree with your sentiment here, but just as devil's advocate, Sarah Sanders and others in the Trump Administration have lied about other things with certainty -- "no meetings with Russians", "no collusion", "No (I didn't know about the $130,000 payment)" and on and on. They have guaranteed other things they couldn't possibly know for sure.

BUT, again, I agree that CNN should have had a different headline.

Trump uses NDAs with everyone he employs and does business with. He has been doing this for many years.

Trump does not sign the NDAs; low-level aides sign them. He also does not sign contracts as was proven in the unsigned Stormy Daniels hush-agreement.
