The IRS didn't suppress the formation of any Tea Party group. There was a slight delay in getting a certain IRS designation that wasn't even required and had no effect on operations. Nobody was harmed in any way and Obama didn't even know about what was going on.

I have no sympathy for liars like Gary.

I'm quite sure Gary has been taken mentally and emotionally hostage by some political cult (alt right???). There is no other way a grown man is going to come up with this stretch of a butthurt storyline...

Based on recent statements it appears that the trump administration is the first to use NDAs with staff. I’m curious why trump feels that is necessary. Have there been issues with past administrations that trump wants to avoid? Supposedly security clearances cover what you can and cannot divulge. Sounds like there are agreements signed specific to classified information in some cases? Even with the stuff former staff have said it doesn’t seem a NDAs were needed?

Trump uses NDAs with everyone he employs and does business with. He has been doing this for many years.

The NDA is the modern equivalent of a loyalty oath. But as Trump discovered with Comey, government employees can not be compelled to pledge loyalty to a person. A government employee is only loyal to our nation.

Congress and/or the courts should now make this explicit. Any NDA signed by a government employee should be declared null and void if the parameters of the NDA overlap with government business.

One can not serve two masters. If you are in a government job, you serve the country, not the president.
