Flagpole is extremely delusional. He knows 100% what both Clintons did, but his crutch is "they weren't convicted". That's really an intelligent way of looking at it. She's a Democrat, I am too, so she wasn't convicted so therefore she's innocent.

Well, the same rules apply to Trump and I agree, he will not be convicted. Flagpole simply wants to be right so badly that at this point, he can't retract his posts (or maybe he can, I don't really know).

He was wrong about the election, so then it's corruption. Let's not look at Hillary-Uranium- Russia...look over there.

Agree on all points. Meuller wont be able to tie Trump directly to any real illegal activity so that legal proceedings or impeachment is viable. The only real threat is probably the Southern District, where spill over with Cohen could lead to Trump.

I'm hoping a more centrist majority outweighs the far left and appeals to some republicans and even Trump supporters.

Bernie (who I'm no fan of many of his policies) is looking to "redistribute wealth". This sounds like Bastille Day and wont work. But Trump certainly is jacking up the National Debt. Just passed the largest military budget in history coupled with the very unfiscally conservative Fed budget, we'll be paying for a looong time. Looking mathematically like it can't be paid back

Let me provide a couple of examples of how to pay for free stuff.

Healthcare: Right now, premiums are paid by employers and/or employees to insurance companies for health insurance.

You could replace the premiums that are paid with an equivalent tax that would go to a general insurance fund.

This general fund would be available to all Americans and would be easily portable and not tied to your job.

So, regardless of your income level or if you are employed at any time, you would be covered for healthcare.

The current taxes collected for Medicaid would also go to this fund.

There would be a healthcare tax for employers and employees similar to the current Medicare tax payroll tax. Maybe an additional line on the corporate income tax.

People's net pay check would be about the same. Company's net income would be about the same.

The issue would be how to handle the insurance companies to stay in business because they are a big part of the economy. They make take a hit, but industries evolve, come and go over time.

Free college: You could make in state college tuition for public schools free just like high school. It's time to evolve to the next step. Yes, you would pay for it by raising taxes - both corporate and individual. But you wouldn't have to raise it by the amount of the increase in cost. And I wouldn't make room and board part of this.

Without the burden of tuition expense or higher student loans, people will have more money to spend into the economy and this will produce more tax revenue. And companies will have access to a more educated workforce that would be more productive for them and save them tuition reimbursement costs that many provide.

There would have to be more online classes to handle the higher volume.

College is still not for everyone and the credits could be used for qualifying trade schools.

Taking this financial burden away from young people will produce financial returns for the country.

Democrats usually do have plans to pay for their ideas.

Republicans simply cut taxes for high earners and big corporations, spend more on the highest expense (military) and run higher deficits, passing the debt to the next incumbent to deal with.

You all keep talking about "Trump being connected to illegal activity", but what illegal activity are you talking about? That's the difference between Trump and the Clintons. The Clintons were, are, and always will be neck deep in illegal activity, but where are all these crimes that Trump has somehow managed to get away with?

Now Omarosa says she heard the tape after the release of her book. That is a very small window. I have my doubts. To be clear I have no doubt Trump actually used that word and a tape exists or existed at one point. But to believe the tape either changed hands to someone who is willing to release it, or the same person has had possession all along and now plans to release it and face the consequences, that stuff is like a parlay requiring multiple aspects to be true.

Parlays are long shots for a reason. I don't think we'll hear this tape any time soon, not before November.

Omarosa did a great job to tape Trump. Standard procedures cannot be used in regard to this administration. They merely adopt Roy Cohn mode and lie, lie and lie again. No shame at all. Change stories without shame because the gullible base will lap up anything.
