Nothing new: The Chi Marathon coverage is terrible, as usual. Tech issues, amateur production. Mute all and hope they at least stay on the leaders till the end.
It's absurd that they have at least 4 cameras following runners on the course and don't have at least one of the feeds on at any given moment even if it's in a split screen
I'm almost certain that the broadcast shows so much wheelchair footage to ragebait us, I have no proof but that can be the only explanation. Even from a profit lens, there's no way the average person wants to watch a wheelchair race or interview while a literal world record happening
Are you really sure it's a "literal" world record, not just a figurative?

I don't have a problem with covering the wheelchair race, we expect it at the majors, but don't waste coverage when the winner is miles in front and the outcome never in doubt. And certainly don't leave race coverage to show a dang interview without even having a split screen.
If they started the wheelchairs 30-45 minutes earlier than they do they could cover their finishes and still be able to cover the main moves with the runners for the broadcast.
Thank God, they went back to women’s wheelchair racing. I was getting tired of watching the greatest long-distance runner in the world right now.
The wheelchair commentator is very good at her job. Let me start with a compliment.
But we absolutely need to push back on her being allowed to use the team "Run." She will talk about how they are running a great race. No, they are not. They are wheeling it. This reminds me of the trans talk. Language has to be factual. If we don't have a society of facts, then we don't have a society
Well then, we most certainly don't have a 'society' (whatever that means).
