if you are doing an objective scientific study you don't know what the conclusions will be. someone saying they are about to start a study and will announce shocking results in september is a big red flag.

I have. He’s from a prominent family and has been in the news for years. I took a special interest a couple years ago when a couple guys at my gym started parroting his pseudoscience. You know, the types of things that sound good in a bubble but absolutely fail when exposed to scientific scrutiny or real world applications. And don’t get me wrong, he’s got some good things to say about Americans needing to eat better, move more, and get outside more. But once he gets beyond the basics he goes into Cloud Cukoo Land pretty quick.
here's the basic deal. it's all well and good to say get skinnier and eat better. we all know that's easier said than done particularly if you're chained to a desk a good chunk of the day.
but the more pointed aspect is that the folks saying this are often "pushing something" themselves.
it's not just "ignore MMR." it's "take vitamin A."
and for all this anti FDA skepticism, none of the same skepticism applies to their alternative drug ideas, or drugs off label, or stuff like vitamins that endruns FDA entirely and may not have been seriously studied, ever.
so it's a weird thing where it's Big Pharma is an issue, but Big Vitamin isn't. it's not like we have people showing up in hospitals with, say, measles + vitamin A overdose issues, or covid plus they took an overdose of farm animal grade ivermectin.
it's faux skepticism because it seems overly interested in pushing a snake oil alternative, and does not turn the same degree of scrutiny on that pill bottle and its safety or efficacy.

Eliminate the following, and tell me whether more than 2% of the ‘epidemic’ exists -
1) illegitimate households, as in mother with an adulterer or the father with a new woman
2) carbs with modern processed forms. Everyone cooked from scratch and as a consequence ate reasonable before 1990
3) The old definition, not the modern one where any corrupt person complaining labels anyone holding them responsible as “autistic” or any other misapplied label
