There may have been edits made beyond the three known Wikipedia names. A few edits by an anonymous user seem to follow the same pattern as those seen by temporun73 et al. Removal of large blocks of properly sourced material detailing the accusations of cheating made by Herron against Stine Rex. Also, a factual (and sourced) statement regarding the 100-mile record set by Herron being declared not valid due to a short course was conveniently changed to say she set the 100-mile WR.
I also have always assumed (after having met them, followed and interacted with them a few times) that he runs her social media for her the majority of the time.
Holt is not running anyone’s social media.
If you know him, you will know that he’s a pen and paper guy, old school really.
You obviously don’t like him but there’s no need to go creating imaginary scenarios and then air them publicly.
So what's your take on his assertion that Canadian Running sent one email that went to spam and then they decided that was good enough to run the article. As someone who dabbles in running journalism, do you think a publication as big as Canadian Running, with actual journalists, would be satisfied with sending an email before publishing a story this damning.
The author of the article chimed in on the other thread and said they also attempted to contact them on Twitter. They purposefully chose not to give a statement.

I am sure this will stop now. They just eliminated every reason to get a sponsorship in the next couple of years. I can also imagine that no sensible race director wants them in their races. And to be clear, this not not just about making some stupid edits on other peoples wikipedia pages. They are downtalking other runners for years and protesting other runners world best performances was the pinnacle of all of this. This wikigate is just a small piece in a 5000 piece puzzle.
Not sure why anyone would down vote this? LR can be a relatively harsh place sometimes. This is a balanced take on things all the way around. I hardly get on here and rarely review ultra results. I am not really interested to see what happens this wk. My suspicion is she DNFs. If she is not on track for WR or win, she usually does. With all this coming out and it being widely known, there will be a lot of reasons to not finish.

That email makes them look worse! Any PR person knew this was the most likely outcome to have husband fall on the sword. She tweeted someone was framing her and now oh never mind it was the husband without any knowledge by Camille. That's such BS. Anyone who believes this doesn't have a single working brain cell.
